Road
Rome is at the centre of an orbital motorway from which you can reach the Capitol. Questo anello di strade si chiama ''Grande Raccordo Anulare'' e rappresenta la principale via di comunicazione tra il centro di Roma e le altre strade della rete principale italiana. This ring road is called ''Grande Raccordo Anulare'' and is the main communication route between the centre of Rome and other main roads of the Italian network.

Trains
The main train stations are: Roma Termini, with its huge shopping mall, Roma Tiburtina (where high-speed trains stop), Roma Ortense and Roma Tuscolana.

Per il tragitto tra aeroporto di Fiumicino e la stazione dei treni è possibile utilizzare il treno “Leonardo Express”.For the journey between Fiumicino airport and Roma Termini, you can use the "Leonardo Express" train.

Air
 Rome has three airports:

Public transport

Per muoversi a Roma si può acquistare il biglietto del trasporto ATAC che, oltre a far viaggiare su autobus e filobus, permette di viaggiare in metro e in treni metropolitani e regionali.To get around Rome, you can buy an ATAC transport card that, in addition to travel on buses and trolleybuses, allows you to use the metro and suburban and regional train lines.

Metro
The metro is a very practical way to get around Rome, and there are two main lines: A and B. Le due linee partono dalla stazione di Roma Termini. Both lines start from Roma Termini railway station. City Buses
Rome has an excellent city bus service. Although buses in Rome do not have a good reputation, with many complaints about overcrowding or delays and lack of punctuality, the advantage is that the city is well served by an extensive bus-network and it is the only way to reach most places.

Private Cars
If you decide to rent a car,  take care about restricted traffic zones, called (ZTL) which can only be accessed with a special permit.
